DISTRICT CHIEF Mike Musolf
Chief Mike Musolf was appointed to ACJFD in June of 2003 as a probationary member assigned to Station 36. Over the next several years he obtained his Firefighter II, EMT-Basic and Hazmat Technician certifications. He was then promoted to Captain in September of 2013. He continued furthering his education by becoming a Paramedic, Fire Safety Inspector as well as an EMS and Fire Instructor. He has worked for several entities over time including Promedica Air & Mobile, St. Vincent's Life Flight, Cedar Point Fire Department, Monclova Township Fire and Rescue Department, Sandusky Co. EMS, as well as many years in the construction safety industry as a field inspector and safety manager. Chief Musolf was selected as the next Fire Chief after the retirement of Chief Hartman and was sworn in on August 10, 2017.
DISTRICT CAPTAIN Matthew S. Toflinski
Capt. Toflinski started his career at ACJFD as a part-time member on Medic 21 in March of 2013, and became the full-time Captain in 2014. He started his career in 2008 in Lake Township and has previously worked for Promedica Air & Mobile as a Critical Care Paramedic, Monclova Township Fire & Rescue as a FF/Paramedic, and Lake Township Fire & Rescue as a FF/Paramedic.
His duties are to oversee the operations of Medic 35 crews, EMS logistics, EMS operations, and administration of ESO, the electronic EMS reporting system.
STATION 34 BATTALION CHIEF Kevin Chapman
Kevin Chapman is the current Battalion Chief of Station 34.
STATION 35 BATTALION CHIEF Battalion Chief Mike Swisher
Chief Swisher joined Clay Center Fire Department in 1982. He was promoted to EMS Captain at Clay Center in September of 1987 and later became Fire Captain in 1990. In 1998 he was promoted to Fire Chief of Clay Center and served in that position until the formation of the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District in 1999 when he became the Battalion Chief of Station 35.
STATION 36 BATTALION CHIEF Randy Miller
Randy Miller is the current Battalion Chief of Station 36.
